whispering pines
on a hot summer’s eve
bring sweet relief
~~~
almost hidden
among purple cone flowers
a small white pine
glistening drops
of morning fog cling
to the pines
That must be some magical pine to hide amongst echinacea flowers! 😉
I was thinking of a new pine – I often find 3-6 inch oak, maple, pine and mimosa sprouting in my flower bed. But I like the magical idea better! :0)
A triple gem Dolores, but your third haiku is really a masterpiece.
