Psalms 1:6

Psalms 1:6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

over the righteous
the Lord watches and protects
gathering his flocks
leading them from destruction

Psalm 1:5

Psalm 1:5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

each one more wicked
politicians assemble
for the good of all
we swallow the shallow lies
not passing judgement
the downtrodden overlooked
how do we stand it
money buying up the truth
the self-righteous spout
false accusations
we rally around the flag
declare war for gain
democracy bought and sold
