the town clock strikes
a quick peck on the cheek
and back to your book
clear night air
stars seen through the ages
mark another year
dandelion leaves
deer forage far from home

Chapeau Dolores! What a wonderful series of haiku you have created on our theme “New Beginnings” … It’s a joy to read your beautiful work again at CDHK. I am so glad that I have found the energy to start publishing again after a tough December month. Thank you for being part of it.
