Carpe Diem Weekend Meditation #57 Renga With … six haiku poets
at the gate of a deserted house,
a cicada is crying in the rays
of the evening sun © Shiki
I pick a chrysanthemum
plucking the petal as I walk
all my years
floating in the river
a childish heart © Jane Reichhold
happy memories entangled
in s flow of tears
autumn’s bright moon,
however far I walked, still afar off
in an unknown sky © Chiyo-Ni
no matter how high I climb
I cannot reach your heart
a flash of lightning:
the screech of a night-heron
flying in the darkness © Basho
returns me to the present
I enter the garden gate
pressing sushi;
after a while,
a feeling of loneliness © Buson
fermentation a slow process
so is getting over you
the coolness
of the sound of water at night,
falling back into the well © Issa

Your renga has a beautiful flow and I love the hints of underlying sadness.
