Carpe Diem #1029 Felt With The Heart
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.” Hellen Keller
My father taught us all about the constellations as a child. We lay out all night and watched the meteor showers twice a year. I continued this tradition with my own children. Still love is a bigger adventure.
star gazing
your hand slips into mine
the whole world changes

For the past 15 years we have raised and release swallowtail butterflies. Every time it is a thrill to watch their maiden voyage. Watching my daughter and her concern for each caterpillar is also wonderful. Now I an passing the tradition on to my grandchildren.
watching you release
another butterfly
my heart soars

This beauty brought a haiku in mind which I wrote last year:
late summer night
wind chime resonates through the night –
stars shine bright
Chapeau Dolores really nicely done.
