Psalm 6:1–3

1 Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger
or discipline me in your wrath.
2 Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint;
heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony.
3 My soul is in deep anguish.
How long, Lord, how long?

My soul is filled with anguish,
I cannot hear your voice,
I am all alone.
How long must I seek you?
Why did you move away?
Have mercy on me, Lord
my faith is weak.
Do not rebuke me,
with hold your wrath.
I long to hear your voice,
help me move toward you,
walk with me again.
How long will I feel so empty,
so empty my bones ache?
Have mercy on me, Lord
help my unbelief.
