That surprises me. I was going to scrap that one. Wasn’t sure it made sense to anyone but me.

I’ve recently seen the “Thin Red Line” and there is a scene where a young soldier in the middle of battle touches on of those plants and watches it close … so it has quite a lot of sense to me.

Didn’t you do well with this prompt!
I have dozens of nice leaf pictures, taken over the years, but can’t come up with anything to say about them in a haiku manner 😦
