Traveling in Yamato Province, I stayed overnight in a farmer’s house. The master of the house was very kind and hospitable.

shade the porch swing
crickets serenade
we sit and listen
in a corner of her garden
to wind chimes

Your second haiku I would use for a meditation … what a wonderful scene you have painted in that one …. very soothing and spiritual.
