Carpe Diem Tan Renga Challenge #75 MMT’s “first yellow blossom”
I have to say, at first I wan’t sure I could add anything at all to this gem of a haiku by Magical Mystical Teacher. Then I thought about how people today don’t often seem satisfied or happy with what is at hand. Then I thought of insects who probably are content, and so here are my tries.
first yellow blossom
sprouting from a slender branch—

Visitors to the shrine
wishing for cherry blossoms
