Carpe Diem #661 Poplars

line the neighborhood street
every house the same
on a rainy day
poplar logs play host
to shiitake mushrooms
on tulip poplar
hiding among the leaves

I really like the first one. A lot of ‘posh’ homes here have poplars lining up their drive way or the front of the homes. 🙂

yes, ‘spindly’ is the word!
